Setting up CCCam to OSCam

CCCam and OSCam are both popular card sharing protocols used in the satellite TV industry. While CCCam is widely used for sharing subscription cards between receivers, OSCam is known for its flexibility and compatibility with various systems. If you’re looking to set up CCCam to OSCam, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you get started.

1. Install OSCam: Begin by installing OSCam on your system. You can find the latest version of OSCam on the official website or through reliable sources.

2. Configure OSCam: Once OSCam is installed, you need to configure it. Open the OSCam configuration file (usually located in /etc/tuxbox/config) using a text editor. Update the necessary settings such as your server details, port numbers, and protocols.

3. Obtain CCCam C-line: Contact your CCCam provider to obtain a C-line. This line contains the necessary information to connect to their server. It typically includes the server IP address, port number, username, and password.

4. Add C-line to OSCam: Open the OSCam configuration file again and locate the section for adding C-lines. Copy and paste the C-line provided by your CCCam provider into this section. Save the changes and restart OSCam.

5. Test the Connection: After restarting OSCam, it’s time to test the connection. Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your OSCam server followed by the port number (e.g., http://your_server_ip:8888). If everything is set up correctly, you should see the OSCam web interface.

6. Configure Your Receiver: Finally, you need to configure your receiver to connect to OSCam. Access the receiver’s menu and navigate to the network settings. Enter the IP address and port number of your OSCam server. Save the settings and restart your receiver.

By following these steps, you should be able to set up CCCam to OSCam successfully. Remember to always use legal and authorized subscription cards for card sharing to avoid any legal issues.
